The finished project has completed a motorway circuit around the city, which has helped to overcome traffic congestion and provide a direct link between the airport and the CBD.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eNorth Shore Scaffolding was involved with two elements essential for the completion of the tunnel:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eFirst up were the design and implementation of an innovative mobile roof that allowed the cutter head of ‘Alice’ (the tunnel boring machine) to be assembled under shelter. This roof also allowed critical parts to be craned into position when required. Unlike a conventional shrink-wrapped roof, North Shore Scaffolding used a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/north-shore-scaffolding.myshopify.com\/products\/keder-roof\" title=\"Layher Keder Roof System\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eKeder Roof System\u003c\/a\u003e from Layher, which allowed large sections of the roof to ‘open’ and ‘close’ as required. The Keder Roof System saved our client both time and money, allowing the project to continue on time and undercover, avoiding weather delays.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eNorth Shore Scaffolding was then asked to supply 24\/7 labour for scaffold requirements during the initial four months it took to get Alice operational. We then went on to supply scaffolders and materials for the duration of the project.
