The Geda Hoists are simple to operate and can be assigned to onsite staff with minimal training. North Star Hpist Services supplies safety pre-start checks to be performed and weekly, quarterly and 6-monthly inspections.
The lifts feature moveable safety gates for edge protection and the lifts can be set up to automatically stop at each safety gate.
The Geda 500 details are:

- Maximum load of up to 5 people (500kg)
- Lifting height up to 100 metres
- Lifting speeds up to 12 metres per minute in Personel Hoist mode
